Tailor made inspiration: play on light and space in this new Milan project, designed by Turati Boisereis

Tailor made is the recurring theme that defines this new project made by Turati Boiseries. In fact, it is the elegant, almost dignified atmosphere of this building from the 1930s, in the heart of Milan, which makes the location truly stand out – Turati’s latest challenge in design. Large staircases and solid walls, rich in history, are the prelude to the residence on the fourth floor that highlights this work of fine craftsmanship from the Brianza region.

Optimizing space and redefining the division between the interiors was the mission that tested Made by Turati. In fact, the project was designed to create solutions to improve the quality of home living, making the most of available space, without ever going against the natural architecture of the abode.

Turati’s creations started from the decisive element of every home, the entrance and the hallway – at first cramped and not very practical – yet now brighter and broader thanks to custom-made solutions that allowed us to meet the client’s needs, as well as those dictated by the layout of the home and its interiors. Doors and interior spaces with different depths and shapes all find a delicate and unique blend in the white boiseries with an ultra classical line, enhanced by the beautiful marble floor, along with shades of white with black inserts. Boiserie and wainscoting seem to accompany the perimeter of the hallway with a delicate and practical touch, offering new perspectives to take advantage of space and give meaning to an area of the house previously seen just as a passageway. The LED ceiling lighting system, cleverly inserted inside the boiserie, also gives brightness and freshness to this part of the home.

The door appears and then disappears in a «majestic» way with a touch of the homeowner’s hand, offering the choice for a clear and open space or creating a waiting area for the living room by closing the sliding door between living room and study, revealing the artistic flair of these beautiful decorative details.

These Turati Boiseries creations also find space in a custom-made library from the Classmode collection – along the wall – that thanks to plays on space and materials, gives harmony to the living room. The true gem of these furnishings is the asymmetric division of the shelves that beautifully display these books, or tTailor made inspiration: play on light and space in this new Milan project, designed Turati Boisereis hey can become – thanks to the glass element and gold back panel – small illuminated display cases where you can store important keepsakes and items like an art exhibition. In addition, the style of these decorations on the top of the bookcase perfectly meet the standards of classical style that Turati has always loved, giving a regal air to the home furnishings.

This is just another challenge for the master workmanship of Turati Boiseries, with customized solutions that succeeded in winning over even the wildest demands of the client in Milan, with customized results that offer practical solutions and enhance the architecture and poetry of this residence built in the 1930s.
