“From words to deeds, Made” this is the leitmotiv (from the Italian saying, “Dal dire al fare”) of this show in Milan, which couldn’t be more fitting to justify Turati Boiseries’ first time here: the company’s creations embrace the latest requirements in «tailored and custom-made» design, creating wall systems that, like a gorgeous suit, dress the interior with the warmth that only wood can give.
This is how wainscoting and panelling return to the bygone splendour, with a new and renewed allure, creating sophisticated frames for interiors that are destined to become part of the history of the best Italian design.
With the utmost respect for the past, this artisan company from Mariano Comense will present wainscoting with innovative taste, defined by daring combinations based on the choice of material and finishes. The wooden walls, panelling and coffered ceilings offered in this way are an attempt to dictate the residential abodes and their interiors, eliminating time itself, and looking with disenchanted elegance towards the presence of today.
These contrasting plays, balanced tones, and authentic craftsmanship are the three elements that visitors can touch in these installations and layouts conceived specifically for the occasion and presented at stand F02 E01 (Pavilion 7).
The ability to update and renew classic style finds its most authentic expression in the wood combinations in printed leather elements and mirrors, but also in the use of trendy colours combined with these immaculate tones – the Greenery, this revitalizing and fresh light green, is the colour of the year 2017 chosen by Pantone and is the background that Turati Boiseries has brilliantly interpreted in its debut at the Milan exhibition.
