Turati Boiseries, a debut featuring many news
Turati Boiseries just made its debut at Made Expo, which was an interesting stage to present the brand’s best production. An edition characterized by important signs of revival in the national market and by the presence of an international audience, for a number of construction and architecture professionals exceeding 100,000 people. A high-quality fair where Turati Boiseries participated with an elegant, refined exhibition spaces, surely designed to enhance the boiseries and false wooden ceilings, in their highly tactile peculiarity and aesthetic eclecticism.
Wood in its various forms was, in fact, the true protagonist of the fair stand. Precious, warm, alive: every area of the exhibition space was designed to highlight the beauty and preciousness of wood. From the exterior wall, totally made of pickled oak, where all the basic elements of a boiserie – panel, door, decorative slats, frames and friezes — were depicted, to the interior wall, with exhibition of various types of boiseries, starting from an unrefined paneling. All was updated on a “Greenery” background, the revitalizing and fresh color chosen by Pantone as the color of the year.
In the bottom wall, all the creations by Turati Boiseries were designed to celebrate daring match-ups in terms of both tactile feeling and colors, creating sophisticated frames for environments destined to become part of the history of the best Italian design. With a new and revisited allure, boiseries go back to their ancient splendor.
In fact, 5 panels and 5 stylistic and decorative solutions that were absolutely singular. From the walnut panel, framing modern and contemporary leather or fabric inserts, for more classical and cozy environments, through a series of bolder paneling. Classic style is embellished with golden leaf decorations, a touch of French-ness, and baby blue lacquered wood with a silk effect become essential, with more geometric and original elements, to the top of the range. Stained and dotted gray walnut panels are “decorative” elements for trendy and yet classic environments.
All the creations cover the most current design canons that is “tailor-made”, creating equipped walls that, like a beautiful garment, dress the room with the warmth that only wood can guarantee.
Wood is also the main star of other products by Turati Boiseries, in full respect of the Made in Italy artisanal tradition. Floor-to-ceiling inlays, cupolas, tableaux that compose the ceiling coffer false ceiling are just some of the identifying products, in addition to boiseries, that the company from Mariano Comense manufactures: a symbol of timeless elegance.
Contrast games, balanced tones and authentic artisanship were, therefore, the three elements that the visitors experienced in the installations designed by Turati Boiseries.
